To celebrate Natura's 55th anniversary, we decided to show a little-known fact: the Amazon generates around R$317 billion per year. In other words, if it were a person, it would be the richest person in the world. That's why Natura put the Amazon on the cover of the annual edition of Forbes magazine's ranking of the world's richest people. In an internal article, we also showed that Natura maintains relationships with more than 10,000 families from 44 Amazon supplier communities and, in 2023 alone, shared R$42.8 million in direct resources with the communities and contributed to the preservation of 2.2 million hectares of forest.
